Terms of use
Last updated: June 2026
1. Agreement
These terms govern your use of the Sentra Cyber Fraud Ltd platform and related services ("Fiducio", "we", "us"). By creating an account, starting a free trial, subscribing, or using Fiducio, you agree to these terms, our privacy policy, and where you use Fiducio on behalf of an organisation, our data processing agreement.
If you use Fiducio on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.
2. The service
Fiducio is commercial payment-fraud monitoring software for construction and trades SMEs. It helps review payment-risk email, compare details against your supplier baseline, flag suspicious signals, and support a structured verification workflow before payment. Features, pricing, and integrations may change as we improve the platform.
3. What Fiducio provides — and does not
Fiducio supports human review; it does not make payment decisions for you.
- We help flag suspicious invoices, supplier impersonation signals, and bank-detail changes.
- We do not guarantee detection of all fraud or payment diversion.
- We do not replace your internal approvals, accounting controls, or banking processes.
- Risk scores and recommendations are indicative — not legal or financial advice.
4. Your responsibilities
- You remain solely responsible for all payment and supplier decisions.
- Verify supplier bank details using trusted contact methods (e.g. phone to a known number), not email alone.
- Connect only mailboxes your organisation intends to monitor for payment risk.
- Keep supplier baseline data accurate and review imported records (e.g. from Xero) before relying on them.
- Ensure users you invite comply with these terms and your internal policies.
- Do not misuse the service or attempt to access other customers' data.
5. Subscriptions, billing & free trial
Paid plans are described on our pricing page. Prices are shown excluding VAT unless stated otherwise. Additional monitored mailboxes may be billed automatically when you add them.
Free trial
We may offer a 30-day free trial on monthly plans. A valid payment card is required to start a trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan at the then-current rate (from £99/month for the base plan, plus any extra mailboxes). You authorise us and our payment provider to charge your payment method when the trial ends.
Subscribe without trial
You may choose to subscribe immediately without a trial. Billing starts when you complete checkout.
Renewal & cancellation
Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel or manage billing through Settings → Billing or the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation stops future charges; it does not automatically refund amounts already paid unless required by law.
Payment processing
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers. Stripe's terms apply to payment processing.
Free trial
New customers may start with a free trial as described at checkout. After the trial, subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the trial ends, as set out in these terms and in Stripe checkout.
6. Integrations
Fiducio may connect to third-party services you authorise, including Microsoft 365 (mailbox access) and Xero (supplier contacts). You are responsible for obtaining any internal approvals required to connect those services. Third-party terms and privacy policies apply to their platforms. You can disconnect integrations from Settings.
7. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Use Fiducio for unlawful purposes or to process data you do not have rights to use.
- Attempt to probe, disrupt, or circumvent security or access controls.
- Resell or sublicense the service without our written consent.
- Submit false or misleading supplier or payment information to manipulate risk outcomes.
We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms or if required for security or legal compliance.
8. Availability & changes
We aim to keep Fiducio available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, updates, or third-party outages may cause downtime. We may modify features or pricing with reasonable notice where practicable; material adverse changes to paid plans will be communicated via email or in-app notice.
9. Intellectual property
Fiducio, its software, branding, and documentation remain our property or our licensors'. You retain ownership of your data. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display your data solely to provide the service.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Fiducio is provided "as is". We exclude implied warranties where allowed. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or loss-of-profit damages, or for losses arising from payment decisions you or your organisation make, undetected fraud, or reliance on risk scores alone.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Our total liability arising from the service in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid to us in that period (or £100 if you are on a free trial and have paid nothing), except where a higher minimum is required by law.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts in England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
